Born in South Bend, Indiana, spending formative painting years in Chicago and Kansas City before receiving his MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Piechocki has been living and working in Los Angeles since 2015.
Piechocki’s work is in the collection of the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, shown at the Museum of Museums in Seattle and selected by Ana Katz, Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles to be featured in issue 151 of New American paintings (2021).
His latest solo show, A Dark Little Landscape Show, was at Reynolds Gallery in Richmond, VA in 2023 and most recently his work was included in group exhibitions at Soy Capitan Gallery in Berlin, and at Praz Delavallade Los Angeles and Harpers Gallery, NYC.
