Eric Diehl
“Through hallucinatory landscapes of the US American West I cross-reference painting and cinema, interweaving my own video screenshots as well as classic camp cinema into acrylic paint. The car appears as an antagonist, a symbol of both destruction and the libidinal excitement of speed and technological progress.”
