Daniel Garver
“My multidisciplinary practice spans a range of mediums including ceramics, textiles, and drawing. Across these mediums I develop a structure of various systems to create pattern and visual stimulation. Within my work I strive to achieve a refined simplicity while also maintaining a visceral juiciness that exhibits the materials inherent properties and potential.”
Daniel Garver lives in Silver City New Mexico where he produces work from his home studio. Daniel holds a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2011). Daniel has completed a Fellowship at the Penland school of Crafts (15’-17’) and participated in a variety of residencies including the Jentel Foundation, AZ West, The Bright Angle, Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and Western New Mexico University. His work has been shown throughout the US in a variety of group and solo exhibitions.
